August is basically the Sunday of summer. You know the feeling the weekend isn’t over yet, but you can already feel it starting to wind down. The good news, There’s still plenty of summer left, and now is the time to make the most of it.

Everybody’s outside right now. Beach days, pool parties, festivals, concerts, road trips, backyard hangs, late night food runs and spontaneous plans are all still on the table. August is the month to stop saying “we should do that” and actually make it happen.

The days are still long, the weather is still hot and there’s no shortage of reasons to get out of the house. Grab your friends, throw on your favorite summer fit and go do something.

Hit the beach. Plan a picnic. Go hiking. Find a pool. Catch a sunset. Check out a local market. Take a day trip somewhere new. Even something as simple as getting everyone together for a backyard hang can turn into one of the best days of the summer..

Festival and Event Season Isn’t Over

August is also packed with concerts, festivals, DJ sets, outdoor parties and weekend events. If there’s an artist you’ve been wanting to see or a festival you’ve been thinking about going to, this is your sign to lock it in.

Some of the best summer memories come from those last minute plans! Buying the ticket, getting the group chat moving and figuring everything else out later.

Take the Weekend Trip

Not every summer adventure needs to be a full vacation. August is perfect for quick road trips and weekend escapes

 

Everybody get outside, enjoy summer while you can, grab you're CAKE let’s finish summer strong. Drive somewhere you’ve never been, book a night away or pile into the car with your friends and let the playlist decide where the day goes.

Sometimes getting out of your normal routine for even one day is all you need.

Make the Small Days Count Too

Finishing summer strong doesn’t mean every day needs to be crazy.

Have a BBQ. Watch the sunset. Go swimming. Eat outside. Take your dog somewhere new. Invite your friends over. Put on some music and enjoy a warm night before those summer evenings start disappearing.
